Definition of failure

Failure, a success delayed....

This was the title of the book I came across while waiting for my sister. Right now, I feel like a total failure at some aspects of my life. Especially in my studies. My grades and scores before the play practices were really something worth bragging. Unlike now, it feels that I went down 3 feet below the ground. I could never, ever blame the play for I was also the one who volunteered myself to become the director.

But I think this is just a challenge for me to do my very best and there is no time to waste, right? Yeah, I should just calm down and try to manage it all. Besides, I could even manage a whole production. So why should I not do the same for myself? I also came to realize that being the director was another challenge for me that no matter what the result is, I should whole heartedly accept it. There's always a reason behind everything. It is also a test for me on how I could handle and balance things at the same time.

Besides, everyday is new day......

Moments

I am so grateful to experience these.....

It has been such a long time since. Anyway, I'm back! The play practices has taken up much of my time. I had some sleepless nights to tell you all. Our technical dress rehearsal shall be on Monday. Luckily I had time to do this post. It's just that a lot of things had come and go yet I failed to share it with you.

Last Wednesday, a teacher treated me and my friend for some snacks at Chowking. It was very surprising, at the same time quite honored. I think it was my first time.

Now this is really something to remember. I watched a musical play at Colegio de San Jose last Saturday entitled The Song Of Joseph. Actually there were still many things that happened before I watched the play. It was 6:30 in the morning, my friends and I went jogging at the Barbeque Park. It was fun and my first time to do it with friends and outside school. After we had our breakfast at Jollibee. We also went to a friend's house afterwards. Our goal really at that day was to practice for our play and so we did. I was even late.

I was already at the school when I realized that my ticket for the show was not there. I did whatever went to my mind. Then my friend told me to go to Ms. Adrias because she might have had some spare tickets. And so I did. There she gave me a letter to signify that I forgot my ticket at home and nobody could bring it to me.

Then there I was, already at the show. Magnificent, the word that could describe everything in the production. The actors sang very well that you could really feel the true meaning of the song. After the show we had autographs and pictures with some of them. They were very kind to us. until now, the songs still lingers in my mind that seems so vibrant. That was one of the only times I was fully relaxed. To tell you, the only reason that I watched it is because I need to get ideas for our play. Still it was for work.

Like a good book, I need to go back to reality and do my business....

One after the other

Friday...Saturday....Sunday...

Fun never gets tired of visiting me these days. Now it's already our sem break. Last Friday was my birthday. It was totally something to remember. That day, I felt somehow truly loved by I don't know, everyone. I arrived early at school which made it quite perfect. When I arrived, I was greeted by everyone. Even when I just passed by the other section's classroom. I went down again and as I approached the blackboard, I saw this happy birthday greeting that said "from yr. 2 St. Anne, Mrs. Pasaporte and CATHERINIANS. I was in awe. I thought that it was very kind of them to also place their section there because they also helped in the drawing. So thanks Catherinians!

Last Saturday, I had another blowout with my close friends. We ate at Mooon Cafe. Of course, we had some fun. After the lunch me and my friend headed to the school for our workshop. Sadly, it was our last day.

Then yesterday was our Family Day. We all wore the national costumes of the different countries. Mine was China which was pretty common. First we had a mass, then some activities with the parents and after that we were on our own. At those times, I didn't feel pressure, neither stress. Overall, being with my friends would make me more uplifted than usual.

But then again, all things just ends.....

Stuff again

Wait. Things to do again?

Thank God the exams are already done. Still, things just keep on pile up in front of me. Projects to be submitted, script to finish, and things to plan. Truly, being a student is a challenge. Though, I would still get my prize in the end in multiple ways. I'm sure of that.

This week is another hectic schedule. Another.... yes, another. And, this Saturday would be our last meeting for our workshop. The following week for me would be fun. Besides that it's going to be my birthday, we are going to have our Family Day. Quite the same. Except that now we get to wear national costumes of the different countries. We could not also sing Christmas songs. Anyway let's always hope for the best.

I keep on reminding myself that team work is the key. But should I rely on this? Of course not, right? Well there are some things in life which you think is hard but could be solved alone. There are also things that are easy to do if given a lot of time but is still unfinished because of the multiple processes which requires team work.

Be aware of how to handle things, especially this time....

Events Incorporated

Marvelous... marvelous..

So many beautiful things to love. Last Saturday was another fun filled day. It was the birthday celebration of my friend, Hannah. The party was fun! Lots of my schoolmates came and a teacher. The construction was still on going but I must say that their house was just so nice. The white paint is very refreshing to the eyes. So, joyeux anniversaire Hannah!

After the party, me and my other companions for the workshop went to school. A little trivia for you... we were 2 HOURS late... Nice right? Anyway, after that we to the University of San Augustine to watch a play directed by Ms. JP, who is our theater teacher. The title is Cafe Shakespeare. Telling us what is the relation of the coffee and Shakespeare. Good that I watched the play for it would seriously give me an idea on how to do our play, the experienced way. All these times, we have been staging plays but it is really different if you have experiences on how to control tension and such. I have learned so much at the show and at our workshop.

Funny, cause two of my friends had a crush on one of the actors. I never saw that coming....
I might be gone for a few days again. Lots of things to do....

Time is SERIOUSLY precious everyone....

More Appreciative

A day of laughter....

Never thought that this day would be blog worthy. So I had my French class just this afternoon. God, I was nearly overloaded by the lessons. We learned about the pronouns. Quite hard actually. But our teacher was fun that's why we cooperated well. Anyway, we would also have another tomorrow, so it's going to be yet another fun filled class.

After the class I was surprised because I saw my friends(whom I usually go with after class) was there outside. They were watching a practice. Then it was all fun, fun, and fun! I went out of the campus already late. It doesn't matter anyway because there is no conflict between my schedule and my sister's. I was out for fun at that time.

Speaking of schedule, the following weeks for me would seriously busy. So many submissions and our exams would also be next week! How could I do this?? I'll try my best and not solo it all.

Give a little, take a little....

Unlikely to be it

You would always learn new things everyday....

I certainly believe in this. There are still so many things in the world you do not know. Just like a person. Now I know that all of us has problems and secrets. That's why I love open forums. You would really know a person from this situations. I am totally enriched by what was shared to me. It was as if I didn't know the person which was unlikely to be it. I could already prove that all of us have problems and a missing piece in life. One way or another.

I could somehow relate this to the film shown to us this morning. The movie was "My sister's keeper". A friend of mine has told me before about how beautiful this film was but sadly, I ignored it. It was about a girl named Ana who is a test tube baby, whose organs were a perfect match to her sister. Bottom line, she was made to be an organ donor to her sister. Fascinating right? Anyway, her sister's name is Kate. She had leukemia and her mother did everything just to save her. Kate asked Ana to stop donating her organs for it was already affecting their family. One way they thought of is by suing their mother which Ana did. In the end, Kate died and they all went back to the bigger world because before their life was constantly revolving at Kate's situation. We all went into tears...

The moral lesson for me is that you should put your feet on the shoes of others before making the decision and learn to let go even if it's the last thing you could ever do. Also, we need to remember that all of us has wants that should be heard for the good of all. It was a very nice movie. But no time to relax because I still need to have my workshops.

Hold on to whatever you have now.....but learn to let go someday....

Ordinary days

I wonder if this is would continue....

Hello once again! It has been quite sometime. Well ok, days have been ordinary for me. I mean ordinary days for me is that things have been going on as usual and nothing much extraordinary. Of course I learned new terms in French. Hahaha. Anyway, our class is discussing about the play...

Yes, the play. It has been a topic since last week and I think we would already have our final decision one of these days. The stories have already been laid down the table and this story Shakuntala, had us all searching for it. This story was introduced to us by our English teacher for we were still uncertain of our choice at that time. My classmates and I researched about it and it was interesting. A love story with lots of moral lessons. Every introduction of it would tell you how spectacular it is. Which it really is.

Also last Monday, we played softball during our p.e class. Very fun because it has been months since I haven't played it. I had injuries but luckily the game was nearly ending when I discovered it. Today is also Merylle's birthday. A month from now is also my birthday. Hahaha...

Love the schedule this week.... not that ordinary...

Je 'm appelle

My name is...

Great! Our French classes already started just this afternoon. "Je 'm appelle", my phrase of the day. This is the first phrase I learned on our French class. I also learned how to pronounce the first five alphabets in French. They have 27 alphabets. Latin was the language where it originated. Just a little trivia.

I only had 4 hours of sleep last night. Not really last night because I slept at about 12:30 early in the morning. Don't know actually what's going on but whenever I decide to open my eyes at night it just opens widely. Insomnia as it is called. I never did experience something like that. The last time I encountered such problem was during summer. And guess what in the morning? I didn't feel that sleepy compared to what usually happens to me. Anyway, I still have tons to study tonight. I hope I could already sleep smoothly. I would not allow that thing to happen again and I'm going to sleep early tonight.

Defy gravity.....

Unexpected

Sunday with friends...

Yes, with friends not with my family. Last Sunday was my first Sunday not spent at home. Most of my Sundays are spent by reading books or sleeping to prepare for the next morning. We were actually talking about going out together but the day was just not the same as the usual day I spend with my friends. We strolled around the mall and it was quite fun. We also had a very fun time together during our Fish Spa. My friends even did it twice. I'm proud of myself for making a best friend at the other section. Not the thing I do before.

last Friday we had our draw lots for our CAF play to be staged this December. I volunteered myself as one of the scriptwriters. It will be my first time. The second part of the story was the one that we got. Lots of fighting scenes and the dialogs from the main characters. The play is Florante at Laura. FUN. I actually prefer the third part of the story because based on what I've watched from the last year's play, it was more dramatic and exciting. Let's just hope for the best.

Two mastery tests tomorrow....

Good luck to all of us.....

Bound to be shared

Another weekend to remember...

So sorry if this thing I'm going to share to you is not that timely. Anyway I had a long and amazing weekend. Last Friday the results of our seriously hard work was already given to us... our report cards. I got high marks! I really could not hide my happiness. But I did not get a prize actually because for me it is already a prize when you get a grade like that.

After a short while, I went to the mall and spent the rest of the morning with a friend. After that, I went bowling with a group of friends. It was my first time. It was so fun yet there are things that just occur without your knowledge. The jeep that we were riding broke, causing the traffic jam. But before that, I was wounded while we were playing bowling. It really hurts. I didn't enjoy that much because of that. After that incident on the jeep, nothing much happened. By the way, on that same day my sister got her hair rebonded.

Now I'm going to share to you what tragic thing happened to me last night. We met a car accident. Thank God, the truck was driving so slow not causing too much damage. Seriously, I nearly died there. I mean I was seated at the side where the car was bumped. Good that the our car was slightly diagonal so I was not that affected.

I'm also quite disappointed with the police. They came like about 20 minutes after the incident happened. I even finished an assignment because of that. Anyway it's all done. What can we do? This is actually my second experience. I preferred not to share this some people though close to me because I think it's only bound to be shared to the people whom I think could be trusted with regards to this situation.

Today, I signed up for the French program at school and I have been waiting for this ever since. And guess what? I already heard a Christmas song just this morning. I am very excited!!

All I could say is that everyday is not the same....

Good Times

Thanks friends!

Today was a blast! My friends and I spent our whole afternoon together. We sat at the grass, took pictures, and my friends even laid down the grass. Well I didn't bother joining them. This afternoon was just a fine day. The wind was cool. It was not that dark nor shiny. My ideal whether.

We also watched a puppet show at school. I love it especially the story about the history of the Philippines. Speaking of Philippines, I still am not over about the hostage drama at Manila. It was quite a shame for me. The people now in different parts of the world are like laughing at us. I feel like all of us Filipinos are criminals.

Nevertheless, let's check at the brighter side. Ms. Venus Raj, our candidate for Miss Universe won 4Th place. I'm so uplifted with that news. She also made her own mark. Who could not recognize the line "major major"? These situations made me realized that there is always a good thing and a bad thing which we could not help from happening.

There's a rainbow always after the rain....

Hello!!

Another long time since I haven't post happenings in my life. Hahaha... Something's unusual for these past few days. I AM GOING HOME EARLY. Before I was still on my way home by 6 in the evening. It paved way for me to study. Anyway, it was my cousin's 5Th birthday yesterday. It was very enjoying, I even saw the mothers of my cousin's classmates drinking. Cool right?

Going back to my studies, It has been well since I'm already going home early. My quizzes are still at average scores. I wonder why. I think I'll be doing twice harder this time. The card day by the way is on Friday. What would be my grades??? I better pray that it will be high enough. I don't want to disappoint myself and my parents. Going home earlier than usual is the only thing I can brag about. Nothing's too special for me this week. God, I miss the velada practices!

Going to do my hardest this time....

Rewind...rewind...

Many things has happened for this one month celebration.........

To start the month long celebration, we had a mass. To end it, we also had a mass. I have already noted those and you all know what we had been doing at school. Well for last week, since I didn't have time to post our activities because of my practices for the velada, I'll just share it to you now....

Last Sunday there was a fun run from SM City Iloilo to the school but I didn't participate in it. I was really tired from the practice and I have to do my projects. Last Monday there was nothing much extraordinary. Tuesday, we didn't have a practice for the velada...my only free time. Wednesday, the most fun day ever. We had the Centennial Fun Fair, there were lots of games, rides and the prizes were so grand, they even gave out television sets and refrigerators. Unbelievable right? Me and my friend was the second one to ride the Ferris wheel and it was my first time to stay up there for a long time. I also bought a ring that has the Assumption sign. Luckily, there was a size 7 which really fits my finger.
That same day, we had our technical rehearsal alone. I was very nervous at that time because I am afraid to commit a mistake. Well actually I did make a mistake. Hahaha... Our departure time that day was 10 pm. I was a little bit frustrated at that time. It was done already. Thursday we had our official technical dress rehearsal. We were all pressured. It was like already the day of the performance. The performers were really good and the costume was twice as good as their performance. They seriously spent a lot for this production. Friday was the big day. We, the crew, was dismissed earlier than the rest. I really recalled everything I could so that I would not do any mistake. So the matinee show started and it was smooth. So was the gala show. Many of my classmates went to see the gala show, all that I heard from them was nice complements, which means our show was a success.
Yesterday we had a parade with other alumnae. It was very nice to see them back to their uniforms. My sister, who is also an alumna, borrowed from me a blouse. The parade was from Freedom Grandstand to our school it was then followed by a mass, celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Alminaza. There was also a snack given to us courtesy of the school.

I then waited for my sister thinking that she was still inside the campus. To my surprise, she was at her friends home changing for the dinner. I was hesitant at first but then I just followed her. The dinner was in her friends restaurant and the food was delicious. Well that ended my day.

I hope that there will be more activities.....

One of The Best

Be a light to others....

Glad I didn't miss that concert yesterday of Alvin Barcelona and the Himaya Band. So sorry of those who didn't experience that. It was seriously different from what most of us expect. I'll note that down as one of the best things that I encountered in my high school life. I really admired the musicians that played for us. They have different stories but only had one way, to the Lord. One of them had the worst time of his life when he tried to commit suicide 4 yrs. ago. After an hour he did it, he came back to his senses. Good for him. I realized that praising God is not only about being serious all the time, in fact Bro. Alvin Barcelona gave a new perspective on how to praise the Lord..... very unforgettable.

After the concert, I headed straight to the bazaar at the multi-purpose hall of PNB. There was nithing much to see but I bought this BOB shoes which I have been finding all around Iloilo. Thank God I found it.....

I also have a hectic schedule because I'm part of the velada, specifically on the props. We had late practices which also favors me because my sister's dismissal time's 7 in the evening. Good cause I have a friend dormer. I also learned many things in our practices that would certainly help us on our play. We're working with professionals!!!

Still haven't rest..... I still have practice tomorrow.

How come?

The week has been long again. I even thought that today is Monday!! Hahaha! It has been a long week but very interesting. We had a talk with Major Detablan yesterday. She is the Regional Chief of the Children and Women's Desk. I'm not exactly sure if this is correct. She was so fun and straight to the point. She has handled various cases regarding abuses of women and children. To tell you, there were even more women abused everyday. She couldn't even count it. After hearing the talk, I became more aware of my rights and do the necessary actions when there's problem. There is even a Republic Act stating that it is a form of abuse to damage the pet and plant of a partner. Cool right? We also had a talk regarding ethics and media with our principal today. It shows hoe powerful media could be. Answer? IT IS VERY POWERFUL...

This week did not only cover talks, we also had our tests. I really wonder why I constantly get low scores though I have been studying. "How come??", is the question posted in my mind for a few weeks already. I really could not understand what's happening to me right now. I came to formulate this conclusion that maybe I have a different understanding of the lesson. If that's the case, i would not any more waste time and do the necessary thing. ASK. That would be the solution. But not the perfect.

Weekend will still be busy for me again. I was chosen to be a participant for the Journalism Workshop. Please pray for me....

How come would be answered later..... Let's just get ready for the showdown!

Fully Booked

Hello! It has been a long time since I had my last post....

I felt that my weekend has been so long. The sad part is I had missed several assignments because of my schedule. Last Saturday was my cousin's wedding. It was different becuase he has been with his wife for almost 4 years already and waas blessed with two super adorable boys. They only had a civil wedding at first and decided to have this church just now. But a few days before the wedding took place, his wife was already returning my cousin to his family. Sad right? of course, I do not know the reason behind that. Well let's stop there about their personal lives.

I was not only a visitor at the wedding but I gave my share as a bride's maid. The gown that I wore was the most wonderful so far. The ambiance at the reception was also very welcoming, making it more beautiful. By the way, the reception was in Katamnan in Duamgas. the couple was from Barotac.

Sunday was another long day. It was the only time I have to rest at the same time to do my assignments which was many. My plan for the day was that at 2:00 I'll sart doing my assignments to finish it by 5:00 then I could take the rest of the day. It ended up to be, 8:00 to 9:30. Excluding those reading assignments. As a student, I already arranged my time to make the most out of it. Well that night I also watched a movie with my sister.

Celebrate with us on our festivity

Open House?

This term was new to me before. Open House has a lot of meaning. The only thing I knew about this is that it is one way of us to celebrate the centennial year.... don't we have a lot of activities for the centennial? Of course, it's just once. I would not anymore live during the 200
th year celebration

It started yesterday up to now. It didn't go to my mind that it will be so fun. Many of the places were opened because of this activity. The Gallery which all of us are dieing to see was one. It was awesome. It made me see those things that has evolve in the school through time. In our Garden of Three Loves before, it was full of coconut trees. The grounds before were so wide. Unlike now, there's so much difference. I even went up to the dorm. It was actually one of the classrooms before of the high school students during the 80's and 90's. There was even a college department before. Very fascinating.....

It was already close to 5:00, almost all of the facilities are already closing. My sister arrived and I asked her if she would like and her friends to go in and see the school, knowing that the gallery and other facilities were opened. But the I was wrong so we just peep inside some of the rooms. Isn't it funny?

I hope that there will be more to come....

Taize: A once in a lifetime chance

Another activity given to us by the school is the Taize.... a prayer and vigil

It actually originated in France. I could say that we are very lucky enough to be part of this event. When I first heard of it, I thought immediately about having fun with my friends alone. As I entered the venue, I went to my group and decided to sit with them. We had these name tags of which has specific color and symbol. We didn't what it was for at first. Well we were grouped according to our symbols at the lower right corner of our name tags. I had the sun......

How I really wish I could be with my own set of friends...... back to reality, we could not. So when we were grouped, I was clueless of whom to go to. Then somebody just poked me and it was my friend. Then another called my name to sit with her. And so I did.

First we had this Taize vespers. After that we had our dinner by groups. Then we had two speakers on which we have to listen to very well because there will be a sharing afterwards. Luckily I was not the only one not paying attention. Even the higher levels were not listening. Then the time came that we all have to share. But nothing went through my mind. There was even a facilitator with us in our small grouping. Thank God that I was not the only one not having any answers, I was even better than I thought.

Here then comes the main event, the Taize proper which was already close to midnight. My sister had her own Taize experience and she described it as solemn and fun. To be honest I found it boring at first but when we got to the Taize proper, what she said was true. I lasted until 12:30 in the morning I think. My favorite part of the Taize was when various schools, including ours performed. It woke me up until the next speaker arrived.

The sun was already making its way up again. It was already close 5 a.m. and there was no sign o me getting sleepy. To end the Taize, We had our mass. It was not likely to be the same as the ones we have usually, this time it was fast. The very freaky part about this mass is that there was this student who collapsed. The worst thing is that there was no electricity which made it even more difficult. She was immediately brought to the clinic.

Whew! That was, again, A very stressful moment but also very fun. I had lots of fun with my friends and even met some new faces....

Well that makes Taize for me a real deal.....

The celebration just started

Today Assumption-Iloilo is celebrating its 100th year!

The muaral painting I was talking about few days ago was already done. It was very creative and the concept is pretty much new. It was one of the activities given to us for the centennial celebration. We had our mass at the Jaro Cathedral 2:00 this afternoon. It was a little bit new to me that I paid attention during the mass. As a teenager, with friends, your mind usually go to trips especially when it's boring. At that time, I was thinking that 100 years celebration is just once in a lifetime so I better give the best that I have. From singing to all my attention. But I really didn't fulfill it all. If I was to rate it, it would be 9. So near....

It has been a few days since I haven't post. Last Monday we had our general rehersal at the Jaro Cathedral. It was not all fun and everything, I was actually pressured..... to give my best. It was funny cause we were asked to transfer seats like for five times. Well we ended up sitting at the floor.

Tommorow is another day to look up to. We are going to have our Taize. It is involves praying and singing until the morning. Fun right? We're also going to stay at the school. The morning after that is my Lola's burial. So after the Taize, we are going to go immediately there.

Another fun weekend.....swear!

My Awsome Saturday

I am seriously tired right now......

But it was all worth it. Though I arrived home at about 10:00 p.m. it didn't stop me to go to school and help my classmates. When I arrived there, I was clueless of what to do. First that I did was I went with my classmate to get some paint brush from her house(which is very near). one of the most unforgettable thing that me and my friend did was when we dug the trash bin to find containers. Hahaha!

I was not only fascinated on how fast the artists do their work and how they did it but also by the team work. While we were working, the sky turned grayish and water started to fall. We became quite frustrated and started to find something to cover our work. We didn't have anything except our umbrellas. It didn't only benefit the mural but also the artists.

Today was another first time. I rode the jeepney all by myself going to the mall. That was not actually the original plan. Me and my friend actually plan to go together but she decided to part ways with me. I was even strengthened a bit more because I was with a teacher going to the place where I'm going to ride the jeepney. It was a very enriching experience.

Today was an awesomely fun and stressful day.....

New Perspective

Perspective. In my own words, I can say that it is how you see things whether it's good or bad.

For me , this week is a complex one. Many things happened to me this week. Both good and bad. Thursday was the best one. We helped the school prepare for the centennial celebration by cleaning the shells(yes, the shells) at the cupboard. It was really fun to clean those shells especially with your classmates. We were also allowed to take pictures during that time. Well of course, I enjoyed that. On that day too, we started to paint a portion of the wall at the school's parking lot. I was not actually assigned to be one of the artist but I tried to help my classmates by giving them water together with another friend. I also tried to find a ladder or something that would help them to reach the upper portion of the wall. It was a great experience to offer everything you could.

This Friday, I already bought one of the things I really wanted ever since. It's sort of a jacket but a more classy one. But the sad part of this day is that I had to wait for my sister from 7:30 to 9:30. I was very disappointed and frustrated at that time. I just wasted my time sitting at her friend's car doing nothing. At our own car on the way home, my mouth was zipped. I really didn't want to talk to her. At the same time, I was thinking what was her fault to me. Her friends were the ones who persuaded her to join the dance number. She didn't even lie or do something at my back. I realized that you should be supportive to one another even if that's the last thing you would like to do.

Another great weekend.....

The best thing is....

"We would not have any misunderstandings, if ever, we'll just laugh about it....."

A friend of mine said this to me. She has been my friend since freshmen. We have almost the same likes and dislikes which made me very comfortable with her. I could say that she is the best I ever had. I had some friends before that's only until recess and lunch but she was always with me through almost everything. The best thing about her is that she has a wide understanding. That's why our friendship up to now has a solid foundation.

We were also talking about our group or clique that became smaller instead of growing. At that moment I remembered what my sister told me about college friends being your friends forever. I became worried and started to think of our future. Would we still be the same as we are now? Or even.... would we still be friends by that time? I really could not tell. But one thing is for sure, that I'll do my best to never do something unpleasing to dismay her.

In these times, it's hard to find a friend who's very understanding....

First Friday of July

Hello! It's Friday again....

There really is something very nice or special every Friday. It's my favorite day. It's only now that I realized that I'm surely happy spend a year with my new classmates. At first, I was still locking myself off from my other classmates. Now I freely share my ideas with them. It's a very nice feeling to know that you could just go with anybody in the class. I could safely say that I have no problems with my new class. I didn't have any serious arguments with anybody.... well maybe some very little misunderstanding, but it was all in the past.

Another thing that made this day special (in a way )is that my sister cooked the dinner for us. It was delicious. Thanks to her friend, she now loves to cook. I didn't imagine her ever to cook before, but things have changed right now. From that simple thing, I realized that all the people has the ability to change no mater how others think and would think of you.

I think I'll use that for my insperation next week..... have a fun weekend!

Courage and Bravery

I'll share to you my experience during the leadership training......

Well... I was actually late. It didn't mater anyway. So we had a speaker last Saturday, it was Councilor Jason Gonzales. Aren't we lucky? He asked us what it takes to become a leader, of course we answered him back courage. Now he asked us what is courage. Well we told him that it is bravery. They are actually synonyms, but the BIG difference is that courage has a meaning while bravery is just being strong to face anything. I was in awe when I knew it. Actually I didn't get much lesson from the talk but it was just the difference between bravery and courage that I really took notice of.

More than that, I also had many experience with my fellow classmates. It was my first time to commute with a friend and going to the mall all by myself, lucky there was also a classmate of mine who was alone. I know, God really is good.....

Just as it is...

TGIF!!!

Well it's nice that the week has ended already. I sort of notice that it's so fast. But my duties are not yet done, I still have a leadership training tomorrow. I'm so tired already, but it's my first time so I don't want to miss it. Last Monday, I was just enjoying the trees at the ground, now I'm about to start another day. For me the most unforgetable day was yesterday. I enjoyed our activity that afternoon, though I didn't participate that much. While I was standing on the field I remembered something, like a goal of mine when I was in first year which I already. To be more open to everything good. I realized that in order to fullfill something, you must not only be inspired you must also work for it.

If I was to recall my days before second year, or even first year I was a true dreamer, not a worker. How could you even have friends if you do not start to communicate with others? We all have certain goals in our lives, I know. We shouldn't just sit and think and plan and do not do anything. It's like, inspiration 20%, hardwork 60% and prayer 20%.

A big smile, a big difference

I have a tip for you: Greet each day with a big smile... And the rest will just follow.

This made my day full of positive aura. Even though I had a little bad morning, it didn't stop me from making this day wonderful. Not really wonderful that there are so many extaordinary things that happened to me. Wonderful in a sense that I had lots of fun with my friends and being active to class participations... which doesn't happen most of the time. I also would like to thank a friend for always being with me at all times, we constantly have fun... you know yourself. Also remember to pick up the lessons when you've done something wrong. This tip won't work if you don't know how to analyze certain things that happens in your life.

Thanks!

At last!

Hi everyone! Thank God I've finished my blog. Sooo... my day's just fine. Nothing's really new to me now, except for the trees at school. So adorable. But what's nicer is that we don't have assignments today.... Meaning more time for myself.
